Some time ago I watched a TED talk by Candy Chang; an artist who wanted to inspire people. She started a street project called “Before I die” in New Orleans, in her neighbourhood. This was a social experiment which was supposed to help restore perspective and share intimately with Candy’s neighbours. This blackboard, which was hung on a wall of an abandoned house, not only gained a lot of attention in New Orleans but also started inspiring people all over the world – in over 70 countries!
Recently I noticed two “Before I die..” boards in Amsterdam. They were almost untouched so probably they were just hung. I couldn’t resist myself and I shared 2 of my biggest dreams:
- Before I die I want to make perkadesign.com successful
- Before I die I want to travel around the world
What would you write there?
